I am so excited because the five-day best boss ever challenge starts on Monday, october 14th. So we're going to talk about the challenge today, team. So we're going to talk about the challenge today why I created it, the way I did, what's involved and how you can participate, and also what you're going to be doing when you become part of the challenge. Let's start with. I'm going to make an assumption that you are not happy with how much freedom you have, how much profit you have, how your team is performing, all of the ins and outs of the people part of your business. That's part of the reason why you listen to this podcast and if you've already joined the challenge, that's part of the reason why you joined the challenge challenge. That's part of the reason why you joined the challenge. Anytime we want to change something, we first have to understand what the problem is, where the roadblock is, and understand then where it is. We want to go and come up with a plan to figure out how we get from point A to point B, with a plan to figure out how we get from point A to point B.

This challenge is set up so that five days in a row, you are taking small, bite-sized pieces of whatever the people challenge is inside your business. I'm sure you probably all heard that saying anyone can eat an elephant one bite at a time. When it comes to changing culture in your business, helping people feel safe and feel like they belong, it is not something that happens overnight. We're talking weeks, months, years. We're talking weeks, months, years. So the first thing is slow your roll. Be okay with it taking some time. It's worth your effort. The five days each day I have a video. Well, I should back up.

The program for the challenge is going to be inside the Raving Fan Society app. Anyone is free to download that app. It's on Apple Store and Google Store. Get yourself signed up. Make sure you sign up with an email and you'll get your password so that we can get you into the challenge which is hosted there.

Each day of the challenge, another video is unlocked with another step for you to take, and as the day goes by, you are progressing. The day it goes by, you are progressing. My hope is that each day, you will add something more from what you did the day before. It's small, incremental changes to how you show up that are going to make the difference for creating a team of raving fans that absolutely will give you more freedom in your business and more profit. You've got happy people. You've got productive people.

So the challenge is set up. Every day You're going to come in, you're going to watch the video, you're going to choose one to three things off of a list that you are going to work at implementing that day, and then I've chosen 5 o'clock pm, Pacific Standard Time, as the time that I'll do a live 30-minute Q&A session on Zoom. That I'll do a live 30-minute Q&A session on Zoom. What I'm hoping will happen is that you will bring insights, you'll bring challenges from that day, from what you experienced or what you tried, and as the community, we work together and we interact and we start getting this momentum as you're going through the week. It's settling in that, this business of cultivating a team of highly engaged people. It's not these big, grandiose things that speak to the humans that you lead. What speaks to them is the intentional, daily, small things that they see in how you carry yourself, how you speak, how you interact with them, how much you show them that you matter to them. So, over these five days, as you're implementing these changes, it would be a surprise for people to actually notice. Some may even comment to you, which would be awesome. It'd be wonderful to get that kind of feedback.

This challenge is designed to take that great, big, huge weight on your shoulder and put it down and just start with a little pebble right. Just a little. A little change as you Trying to figure out how to create this fabulous work environment is going to help you make it a reality. On the app, there's a community tab, so people are going to be able to put their questions in, put their wins, put their challenges and start really generating a community of like-minded small business owners that really want to make a difference inside their company and inside the lives of the people that they lead. So I'm going to put the link in the show notes.

As far as getting signed up for the challenge, it starts Monday, october 14th. It goes through Friday. There'll be live question and answer calls on Zoom. Once you get into the challenge, the emails that you'll be receiving have the Zoom link and then also inside the app, inside the challenge, the Zoom link is there as well. Really really encourage you to set aside the time to interact and get involved and get the energy, the collective energy, to help you make this challenge a really wonderful thing for your business and for your team.
